Consistency Counts…Even When You’re Still Figuring It Out
If there’s one thing I’ve learned while building Her Sisters Keeper Foundation and developing our She Cares program, it’s this: consistency is EVERYTHING. Now, let me be real…consistency doesn’t mean that I have it all together…far from it. Some days I feel like my brain has 12 tabs open, juggling emails, new ideas, and if I even ate lunch. But here’s the thing: even when you don’t have all the answers, showing up matters.
When I started developing the She Cares program, I knew the vision but not all the details. I’m still learning as I go, talking to community organizations, meeting with potential donors, and figuring out what women really need when they’re walking through one of the hardest times of their lives. And let me tell you…it’s stretching me! But instead of waiting for perfection, I’ve committed to taking small, consistent steps.
Why? Because growth lives in consistency. It’s not the big flashy moves that build something great, it’s the daily, sometimes unglamorous, behind-the-scenes work. It’s sending that follow-up email, packing that one basket, or showing up to a meeting nervous because you’re doing this scared. And honestly, it’s kind of freeing to admit I’m learning. There’s no shame in not knowing it all, there’s power in staying the course. Every step, no matter how small, is progress.
So, if you’re building a business, a dream, or even just a better version of yourself… don’t wait for perfection. Stay consistent. Show up messy if you have to.You might surprise yourself with how far those small steps take you. And speaking of showing up, if you’ve been inspiredly this, one way you can help is by supporting our She Cares baskets. We’ve created an Amazon wishlist to make it easy, you can send items directly to us with just a few clicks. Add a gift to a basket today.
Cheering you on, always.
